Flock: The Good Just Got a Bit Better

While updating this blog earlier, my blog editor of choice, which is actually a feature of Flock, prompted me that there is an update available. Being the good geek that I am, I promptly allowed my system to get updated to the latest version. Upon the subsequent update, I was really impressed at the features added to Flock!

It now has oodles of features a blogger like me would appreciate. Its blog editor still works really well (this post is a testament to its efficacy). Its integration with flickr is better than ever and it even has a mapping facility (courtesy of Yahoo! Maps) which I don't even know how to use (yet). Well, I'm still re-acquainting myself with this upgrade and I hope it does work as well as its predecessors.

All in all, this is a great upgrade and I just hope that as flock goes out of beta, better features will be introduced with it.

Thanks for your comments! I'm pysched that you like the new release. We've got a lot planned -- and a lot of optimizations to make -- but this release is certainly an incremental improvement on our October release!
