Microsoft Max: Microsoft Bob's Descendant?
But seriously. When Steve Jobs (jokingly) quipped "start up your photocopiers", someone at Microsoft took it seriously and indeed started their photocopiers to help them "innovate". Take this one for example: Microsoft's "Codename Max" looks like a total rip-off of Apple's iPhoto. Although Max is meant to showcase the graphics processing prowess of the upcoming Vista, people in the know can't help but wonder where exactly is the innovation in this project.
There's no way for me to find out unless I start downloading it on my *other* computer.
