Here's a Great Idea: The Complete New Yorker Portable Hard Drive

Local magazine or newspaper publisher can pay hommage to this idea (in short, steal this idea) to make some extra bucks on their loyal subscribers and at the same time, rekindle interest in their craft:

The New Yorker magazine is offering an archive of its previous issues (from February 1925(!) to April 2006) in a portable hard drive.  Once connected to a computer, loyal New Yorker reader can access everything that has been published in that magazine at a push of their button.

This would be a worthwhile project for the now dying (or is it dead yet?) "komiks" industry -- make a scanned archive of those venerable "Wakasan", "Pinoy Klasiks" or even the venerable "Liwayway" magazine.

To my good friends at Mobile Philippines:  Maybe this will also pique your interest -- imagine a digital archive of *all* m|ph magazines in one convenient package?  I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be interested in getting one of those.
