Apple's "Quiet" Product Updates

Today, I got wind of news that Apple is updating its Mac line without the usual fanfare.

The Mac Mini has been "officially" been updated to have a Intel Core Duo processor inside as seen on the Apple Store website. Last week, there has been some reports that people who ordered the Core Solo-based Minis were pleasantly surprised to see a Core Duo Mac Mini delivered to them.

Then, the iMac line has also been officially (but quietly) updated as seen in this European Apple Store. The whole iMac line now have an Intel Core 2 Duo (Conroe) processor *and* they also are releasing a larger 24-inch variant to complement their 17-inch and 20-inch models.

Hopefully, Apple gets its "Revision B" MacBook out the door within the month so I can finally order one!
