MOBILE telecommunications firm Smart Communications recently announced that it is offering a free web-hosting service and an online library of classic literature to all current recipients of its Smart Schools Program.

The schools can create their own webpage and get at least 50 megabytes of free space for their content, which would be made available through the program's website (www.smartschools.ph).

Corporate social responsibility at its best! This report from INQ7.Net is a welcome news and kudos to Smart for helping bridge the gap in the "Digital Divide".
