Emulate OLPC On Your Computer

You can now actually play with the OLPC on a virtual machine now.

A complete instruction for doing it can be found on the OLPC wiki. Emulation can be done using QEMU(a free and open source emulation software for Mac, Linux and Windows) VMWare (a non-free emulation software for Mac and Windows) and Parallels (an emulation software for OS X).

Now, why would anyone want to emulate OLPC on a full-blown computer is beyond me. But personally, I'm rather curious at how the OLPC would work and how useful it can really be in a real-world scenario.
