Asus Eee PC: Eeets So Close, I Can Taste Eeet!

It looks like my future computing workhorse will be coming to the Philippine shores sooner than I expected. A local retailer PC Corner, has announced in its website that the Asus Eee PC will be definitely be available although I personally think that their pricing is rather steep.
They list the price of the lowest end variant at Php 13,999 (approximately US$ 290) which is around $90 markup from the supposed SRP of $199 (around Php 10,000). Well, Asus has other local retailers so I expect varied pricing for this baby.

But the fact remains: The Eee PC will definitely be available locally soon and I can't wait to get my grubby little hands on one.
