The Clueless' Guide to Clandestine Internet Surfing
One of the most embarrasing thing that can happen to an office drone (like me) is to have a boss suddenly pop out at your back while you are surfing the 'net. There are skillful people who have mastered the art of automatically pressing Ctrl-Tab thus opening a different program window on-screen. Others (like me) simply had to use their bodies to physically block the view of the computer monitor.
Well fret no more. I discovered this wonderful application called Ghostzilla. Ghostzilla allows a user to browse the internet using any active application window on your computer. If you have MS Word open on screen, Ghostzilla will use MS Word's screen to display the website you want to visit! Since Ghostzilla is based on the industrial strength browser Mozilla, it is also open source and is not as vulnerable to spyware and adware as IE. Below is a screenshot of Ghostzilla at work (its from http://www.ghostzilla.com/screenshots/):technorati tags: browser, internet, open source
