I, too, love gadgets but somewhat daunted with where to buy them here in Metro Manila or at what price and etc. Unlike in the States where you have several options; foremost of which is either online or the local retailers.
Anyway, you might have known about this miraculous device that cellphone companies are now working on; if not, check it out. You might find it interesting although it may never find its way over here in the Philippines.
Very interesting! It works like a Mac application called "Delicious Library" -- a program that uses a Mac's iSight camera to scan barcodes and search Amazon.com for the details of the product scanned.
