Hoodwinked: Something to Crow About

I pooh-poohed this movie when I first saw it featured on the local news (ABS-CBN's TV Patrol) thinking that this is yet another pathetic local attempt to imitate/copy/rip-off famous international CGI-based movies since the news item was drumming up the fact that most (if not all) the animators that worked on Hoodwinked were Filipinos.

While surfing my favorite international news portal CNN.Com, I was pleasantly surprised that it came up on top of its weekly box office tally! Chalk another one for Pinoy ingenuity and talent!
