FUD for Thought: BSOD on Mac OS X Leopard
There were a lot of buzz about the apparent BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) with the newly released OS X Leopard these past few days. But it turned out that a 3rd party software was causing the said BSOD.
So now, its nothing more than FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) because if a potential Leopard upgrader does a "clean install" instead of the usual upgrade, such problem is eliminated entirely. Another workaround is to uninstall the erring 3rd party app (APE or Application Enhancer preference settings) before doing the upgrade.
All's well in the Apple front. *sigh*
