No Gadgets Day! -- Entry 3

Its after lunch and I just finished my lunchtime ritual of having a tall cup of coffee before getting back to work. A usual part of that ritual is to read a chapter or two of an eBook stored in my PDA (I'm almost halway through "The God Emperor of Dune" by Frank Herbert). Luckily an officemate accompanied me in my after-lunch coffee so I got a bit distracted and I have not missed my PDA at all.

Before going to lunch earlier today, I left a message at a friend's table telling him that I do not have my cellphone with me and I intend to have lunch with him and other colleagues. So instead sending a text message to me to tell me that its time to get going, he had to call me through our PABX.

So far, there's nothing too critical happening that may require me to communicate with anyone at the office or at home [insert sigh of relief here].
