Lenovo 3000 N100: The Verdict is In!
Lenovo 3000 N100 review by PC Magazine
PC Magazine has reviewed one of the first few Lenovo laptops that was released and the Lenovo 3000 N100 got a nod from their reviewers. From the looks department, it didn't deviate much from the IBM ThinkPad industrial design except from the obvious exclusion of the eraser-like TrackPoint. In terms of the system specs... well, you be the judge:
Operating System:MS Windows XP ProfessionalProcessor Name:Intel Core Duo T2300Processor Speed:1.67 GHzRAM:512 MBHard Drive Capacity:100 GBGraphics:nVidia GeForce Go 7300Primary Optical Drive:Dual-Layer DVD+/-RWWireless:802.11a/gScreen Size:15.4 inchesScreen Size Type:widescreenSystem Weight:6.1 lbs
With an SRP of $1,349 (approximately Php 71,000), this may give HP/Compaq, Acer and even Toshiba a run for their money considering that it has graphics acceleration (nVidia GeForce) a large-ish hard drive (100 GB) and a dual-layer DVD writer. Factor in its 1.67 dual core Intel processor and I think Lenovo has a winner here.
If I need a PC laptop at this very moment, the ThinkPad Lenovo would be among the top of my choices.
