Well, its good to be a student nowadays since a local Apple reseller decided to finally offer educational discounts to selected schools. Under this program, a 12-inch iBook G4 can be had for "only" Php51,985 while a 12-inch PowerBook is available for Php78,954 and for the not-so-mobile, a Mac Mini is available for Php26,121. Believe me when I say that the discount is really substantial.

There is a catch though, the student must be from certain college/university/school and there's a schedule for each collete/university/school. Check out Ynzal's website for more details.
