VOIP Goes Tingi!
Globequest offers pre-paid VoIP service - INQ7.net
According to a news item at today's InfoTech section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer (March 4, 2006), Globequest will start offering prepaid VOIP (Voice Over IP) access with values ranging from Php 100 to Php 300.
My question is: will this service "fly" considering that potential VOIP users, which are usually the tech savvy segment of the market, already uses Skype and other free VOIP providers to do their VOIP calls.
Be that as it may, this is welcome news because it will only help drive down the cost of traditional overseas (and hopefully local) voice calls.
