Lenovo i921: The New Phone on the Block
Akihabara News - The Lenovo i921 PDA phone
Known as the company that bought IBM's PC division, Lenovo is starting to carve out a name for itself. Take the i921 for example. This thing of beauty comes hot off the heels of the Lenovo laptop line that they released a couple of weeks ago. Said to run Windows Mobile 5.x, this PDA phone looks as if it can also do media playback (as as evidenced with the surreptious rewind, play/pause and fast forward keys below the joystick. Other details indicate that it operates on GSM frequencies, and the phone packs Bluetooth, a 2MP camera and a MiniSD slot.
Will it make a dent on the market? Well, since it is also reported to be an Asia-only release, I hope it shows up on the Philippine shores and if the price is right, I'm sure a lot of PocketPC geeks will be in line to get one.
