Pink: Geek Color of the Moment?

I just observed that Pink is becoming the geek color of choice lately.  First there's the "royal pink" Nintendo DS Light

Then here are other pink gadgetries I found *today*, a pink card reader

a pink GPS receiver

and a pink mouse (pictured with its non-pink sibling)!
