Travelling Terabyte Project: Digital Care Package

Here's something for the books: A hacker known in the community as "Deviant Ollam" had a couple of spare hard drive and decided to put it to a better use -- fill it up with digial media files (music, movies and pictures) and send it over to American troops stationed overseas. Tgdaily.com reports that initially, the drives had a 50/50 ratio of educational and entertainment content but as the project becomes popular, people donates more and more entertainment contents.

The "digital care package" is not meant to stay in one place. Deviant Ollam encourages its recipients to add their own content to the package and then send it over to other camps.

Cool idea huh?
